Provide an interface option for configuring the line-height of text.31 votes
This has been added! The option is available right next to the letter spacing option, in the left sidebar.
I would like to keep hyperlinks live within slides. Can this be dome?4 votes
This is already possible, more info: http://help.slides.com/knowledgebase/articles/553998-inserting-links
Allow the author of a slide to set the presentation into "audience mode"
Where the authors slide position is followed by the anyone else with the link.
This would kill elluminate webex and even google hangouts when presenting via voice calls as the quality can't be matched over video compression.
This would also be perfect for crowd participation for iframe style content where things like audience voting can be started / turned off
This would also be great for launching live events via a slid.es deck9 votes
It’s now possible to broadcast a presentation in real-time to your audience. Find out more: http://help.slid.es/knowledgebase/articles/333924
Be able to duplicate single slides would be great.
For e.g. when changing only one word it will be much easier than copy paste each slide content and position it.16 votes
It’s now possible to easily duplicate the current slide. This option is available inside of the templates selector which appears when you click to add a new slide.
Take a look at: http://cl.ly/image/422M1m1a2b0x/duplicate-slide-2.gif
Allow selection of a blank theme for color type transition etc where there is no CSS pre-applied.
It would also be great if the palette picker down the side just adds a class number to background and foreground divs so that they can be styled with css without attribute selector hacks.
This has been completed. Blank theme options are currently only available in the theme editor but will be introduced to the normal Slides editor after some time of testing.
I want to duplicate my slides.19 votes
Duplication is now possible via the slide template functionality in the new deck editor. The editor is currently in public beta and enabled by default.

it's a bit frustrating making all these fragments on a slide, only to find they come up in the wrong order. can you think about it?4 votes
This has been added in the new editor which is now live (public beta).
A UI to add selectors to slides (for linking background and foreground slides when writing CSS).
Similar to what setting an attribute for data-state="" on a <section> does to the <body> when using reveal.js except this time on the relevant backgrounds element.
Allowing more than one selector would be great too2 votes
The Slides for Opacity is terrible UX. I have slides with lots shaped, which I want to enable and disable often, and it kills me, that I have to hit the 50% exactly every time ..
Alternatively please implement a text-input for this. Sometimes I edit the opacity directly in developer-mode, but it is not really better :/3 votes
This has been changed. Opacity was the only field that was still using our slider input so made sense to converge on the numeric stepper that we use for everything else.
When exporting to Reveal.js, if you've chosen a non-default font in the Slid.es UI, that is not added to the HTML that you are given as part of the export, so it is lost.2 votes
This now preserved, see the export to reveal.js feature here: http://slides.com/news/slides-for-developers
Having a simple drop down comment box that rests below the slide might be a cool way to allow users to keep notes for each of their slides. Right now I'm writing my script either in a word document or "off screen" outside the visible scroll in the main container.14 votes
Speaker notes are now supported. Find out more: http://help.slid.es/knowledgebase/articles/333926
Uploads Library. It would be nice to have a section where I can see and manage images I have uploaded. This would be great to re-use my own images on different presentations without having to upload multiple times.16 votes
This has been added through the new Media Library. More info: http://help.slides.com/knowledgebase/articles/552825-media-library
Never hide the present button, it's a too important feature1 vote
Agreed – we’ve made this change. Note that you can also reach the present view via the preview which is available as a green button in the top left.
Add the option to have page numbers at the bottom of each slide (separate from the progress bar setting).
People viewing a presentation could then refer to particular slides by number when they ask questions.87 votes
We added support for page/slide numbers! It’s a per-presentation setting that you’ll need to turn on. Oh, and it works with PDF exports too!
Many online collaboration platforms already secure content over SSL, and many browsers simply block embeds from non-SSL sources on SSL pages.
Embedding decks in the upgraded edition should be over SSL, or whatever protocol the main page is in. This is why the YouTube embed code doesn't give "http://'; in the source attribute, it just gives "//" so the videos can be embedded on SSL pages.3 votes
The share panel now generates protocol relative embed paths, so embedding a deck under a secure domain will automatically use the SSL route to the deck.
Being able to reset the timer on the speaker's view would be nice. It would allow one to get prepared but then still have a valid timer.
Hi Matt – you can click on the timer to reset it, like this: http://f.cl.ly/items/2m2v2U0l2y1d2r093W3c/speaker-view-reset-timer.gif
HTML export into ZIP file with all assets such as images, JS, CSS, fonts, etc. The current HTML export only gives you the HTML where the assets are still online. I would still need the internet to run it.8 votes
ZIP download is now available in the editor Export panel! The downloaded archive includes all of the JS, CSS and images required for full offline access. This also provides a neat package for those who want to host their own content.
This feature is only available for Pro and Team users.
I would love the ability to be able to name elements with that name being applied to the presentation element (including the slide background) as a css class selector.
The purpose for this being to apply individual transitions & animations with CSS to specific elements only, for instance I may which to cycle the slide background color through a range of colors.
To save on system resources this would only apply to the present slide e.g.
/* Apply custom css */
This is now supported! Turn on the developer mode and you’ll have access to easy inputs for specifying CSS classes.
Classes can be added to individual elements within a slide or to the slide itself. Classes added to a slide also bubble up to its background element.
I often make svg animation by adobe edge；
it will be very useful；
sorry for my Chinglish1 vote
We try to support all SVG. If something isn’t working please let us know by sending a message through the Contact Support link on help.slides.com
This is supported in ipython markdown and is pretty standard in most TeX implementations. It is of great use for statistical or probability-oriented decks, since we use cursive letters to denote distributions. (N= Gaussian, U=uniform...)3 votes
We just released support for font changing functions, like \mathcal.
More specifically we now support: \mathcal \mathbb \mathfrak \mathtt and \mathbf.
- Don't see your idea?
