Support right to left languages
I suggest support right to left languages: supporting bullets on the right, combining english and non english writing from the right, transitioning the slides to the left instead of right, etc.

Fix fragments saving
Right now fragments are not saved correctly event if they were added via "html" button.
The reason is "class" property is being erased on save (Chrome 23 & FF 17)12 votesYou can now add fragments directly through custom UI. Give it a go! :)

Make it so that embedded YouTube videos stop playing when you change slides
I see that I can grab the embed code from YouTube and then go into HTML mode in rvlio and paste the code there and the video will play fine, but the video won't stop playing automatically when I switch to another slide. Can you make the video stop playing when I change slides?
5 votesYouTube videos now stop playing when navigating away from their slide.

Insert code from the editor toolbar.
As a software engineer, I think this is a basic requirement when I make presentations.
15 votesThis has been addressed; there’s a code format option in the toolbar and highlight.js kicks in on the deck page (not during editing).

Make stricter url routes
Usernames starting with "tos" or "about" apparently only give the "terms of service" or "about" pages instead of the user page :)
Like my page: http://rvl.io/tosh

How do I embed, say, a YouTube video?
I see it done on another rvl.io, but cannot seem to figure out how to make it happen.
Can anyone help me out?
So, perhaps the 'idea' is for a couple of instructional vid's to help some of us out. I LIKE the simplicity of this tool, so please don't "complex" it up.

Turn off promotion
Happy with the public URL but I may not want my content promoted, would like an option to opt-out of main rvl.io website promotion

privacy settings + analytics
Would love to get analytics on who sees presentations and the ability to selectively share without publicly publishing (just a obfuscated but short link would do fine)
5 votesWith the release of slid.es, it’s now possible to share private decks through a secret link.

Printing/PDF Slides
Must be able to print the slides, or at least print them to a PDF. Currently in Chrome it just shows a bunch of empty pages.

Link to another slide
Provide ability to link to another slide instead of just a website. I'd love to use this format for a portfolio but don't want to make others have to scroll through to find what they want.
60 votesYou can link to another slide by changing the link “Target” from “Website” to a specific slide number.
We recommend naming any slides that you want to link to using the Slide Settings UI. That way you can more easily target and link to the correct slide.
You can find more info about internal linking here: https://help.slides.com/knowledgebase/articles/553998-adding-links

Allow inline SVG to be saved
Great work.
I found a bug: If inline SVG is used, it displays fine in the edit console, but when saving and previewing, the SVG element has been removed.
Test code to add to HTML editor:
<svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg">
<line x1="20%" y1="100%" x2="80%" y2="20%" stroke-width="2" stroke="green"/>
</svg>Also, the code editor re-writes '<line/>' as '<line></line>' but that's probably not a problem.

Text alignment doesn't work -- parapraph is always center-aligned (Crome, FF)
In editor alignment works OK, but when I go to Preview it is turned into <div style=""> and alignment is inherited from parent's rule:
.reveal .slides {
text-align: center;
}As I said I tried in both Firefox and Chrome on Win7.

Autosave.
Its been a couple of times I sleep my computer and when I'm back I get a saving error.
Also, as a docs and iWork user I must admit I'm getting kind of used to autosave. I think it'd be a good (and huge, I bet, in terms of programming, storage, etc) addition. The "complementary" tools that usually come with autosave would be pretty good too (version control being the biggest).
I think it's a great goal though to strive to later in the future.
20 votesThere’s now an auto-save toggle in the editor sidebar!
