Apply same background image to all slides
It would be great if the same background image could be applied to all slides at once. Currently, I have to upload the image multiple times.

Smart-art functionality
I would greatly appreciate a feature similar to the smart-art functionality in MS Office. It makes it easy to visualize processes, lists, concepts etc.

offer a moodle plugin
offer a moodle-plugin
moodle is a VLE and used by millions of students and 10000 universities.
All of them need slid.es to be an activity.
It takes not so much to write a plugin - but imagine: all teachers need an account at slid.es if they want ot use it. Yes, they can embed it already, but if it is integrated as a moodle plugin - they learn about it.9 votes -
Highlight secondary color from styles in font color selector.
The styles in Slides often contain two color dots over a background color/gradient.
It would be ideal to have the secondary color dot highlighted on the font color selector so you can easily emphasize areas of text in a way that propagates across styles/themes.

Github integration
It would be great to optionally publish to github and/or keep it in sync.
294 votesWe haven’t decided if and in what form this should be added. However we did just release ZIP exports which makes it very easy to download all of the source files for a presentation (HTML/CSS/JS/images). Those files could then be added to an empty repository.

Offline Editing Support
Service should still work if I lost connection. Would also be great to have it as a Chrome App so I can start new presentations even while offline, like on a plane.

Add markdown option to WYSIWYG
reveal already supports markdown. It would be great to easily add a tag.

Predefined presentation path
Add a way for the viewer to have a pre-defined presentation path preset for them, maybe whichever arrow comes next glowing or pulsing, settable in the editor.

Visual navigator for long/complex decks
Having some sort of visual navigator to jump between slides of long/complex presentations would help a lot I think!

Increase the contrast of the new slide pluses and grid lines
The contrast of the new page 'plus' button is so low that I could not see them at all on one of my monitors. On the other I can only see the horizontal one. The grid lines are also extremely hard to see.
I had to go to the help to figure out how to create a new vertical slide.
The problem is of course monitor and viewing angle dependent. But I haven't done anything particular about this (work) setup, so perhaps more people have problems. It is a pretty bad first experience to not be able to add a…

Equate the live URL "page" number and the actual page number
Currently, the live URL numbers and the page numbers are off by one. It seems that live URL starts at 0 whereas the page number starts at 1. This has caused confusion because the viewers think that they are the same thing. Could these be the same?

Scale background images similar to the content
I want to use a background image that fills exactly the available background on my slides, no matter what screen size it is presented on (so the background image should scale as the content does).
For example I use 960x720 presentation size and I have a 960x720 pixel image. The options "cover" and "contain" don't provide the desired result since they will draw the image over the whole screen (rather than the slide). So when I select the only remaining option "original" it fits perfectly on a 960x720 screen, however when I move to a larger screen then the content…

Toggle CSS classes when an element is clicked
There are a lot of votes for adding Javascript support and several for adding more sophisticated animation support.
If there was a way to simply toggle a CSS class with a select number of events (hover, tap, click, keydown) that would go a long way to satisfying these users. By providing the ability to listen for an event and then toggle a class on an element, you can add custom keyframe animations for example or even simply hide or show elements with the display or visibility properties. That in and of itself would be and incredibly powerful (and really safe)…

Allow remote viewers to view previous slides
More control over which slides remote viewers can see.
Specifically it would be great if my audience could view previous slides to the one I'm currently presenting on.
One of the biggest presentation pet peeves is when a presenter goes to the next slide before you had the chance to fully inspect a charge, data, etc.
This feature would completely eliminate this because the viewer could freely view any old slide at their whim.6 votes -
Quit Button to close the current Tab (with the deck)
Sometimes it would be cool to have a quit button ... e.g. I do have a deck where I linked another deck (a quiz). When the quiz is finished it would be cool to have a quit button that closes the tab, so you fall back to the first deck automatically.
