  5. Presentation: Is using cartoon slides un-professional or fun?

    I am close to graduating and am going to an assessment center for a very large tech company. One thing we need to do is hold a presentation about one of their products. https://www.myaarpmedicare.vip/

    I want to stand out a bit from the crowd and show that I spent a lot of time on this presentation. So I had the idea of drawing my own characters and using them in slides to help explain my reasoning etc. (A lot like in the youtube-videos you see nowadays where stuff gets drawn while a person talks).

  8. Do students prefer a slide of layout?

    I’m going to be a teaching assistant for a class of 10 American students. I just wonder if you think I need to include a slide of what will be covered later on. From my own experience, I don’t like it because I never remember what will be covered after the slide is shown. But I may be wrong. Please give me advice.

  9. Please review the UI buttons. Help us to find what we want.

    Please! Review the UI! Show us where to find things. I've had great expectations for this web app while trying to figure out every little nuance of it and what I could do. It has potential but I really can't grasp the logic of the interface. So much so that I get annoyed buy not being able to find the same exact effect I used a couple of minutes ago.

    It would be great if we could auto-animate some elements within the slide, but not all. That way we could (in effect) use the slide transition on some parts of a slide while auto-animating others.

  11. highlight characters on a line

    the line by line code highlighting is dope. what would be even better is if we can highlight characters in a line....say for instance i want to highlight a single function call.

    so it could be like 1c45-60 where 1 is the line number and c45-60 indicates highlighting characters 45 through 60

  12. Allow a team to invite a Slides Pro to join them without incurring additional cost for the team (i.e., team members pay their own way).

    Allow collaboration from outside the team for contractors on a temporary basis. Furthermore, if they have a paid account, we should be able to leverage that. So would be nice to just add them to the team and remove later. Otherwise, they terminate their current account, we add them, then later they leave and we remove them and they create their own account again. Pain...

  13. Collaborators should get an option to present the deck.

    When the deck is shared within the team, any member in the team who is made collaborator for the deck should have an option to present the deck with speaker notes. This comes very handy, when reviewing stuff and cross-checking speaker notes on each slide.

  19. curly brace / bracket

    A very useful editing tool when including a summary in a presentation is indeed to have the possibility to include curly braces / brackets.

    Would it be possible to implement this ? i.e. in the line menu ?

  20. Slide Elements as Background Elements

    So essentially my idea here is for you to be able to lock certain elements and have them count as the background.

    Let's say I have a line running through all of my slides, as a design element, and I want it to seem seamless. I'd use slide transitions-- no issue, change them both. But if I want to use a different transition for the stuff ON my slide, the line will move as well, the effect broken.

    So, if I could say "this line is part of the 'background,' treat it as such" I could then make full use…
