Transitions for Fragments
Would be great to have different transitions for fragments.
As it stands they just appear, but it would be nice to have them slide in or convex etc.4 votes -

Add JSX syntax highlighting
I'm making a presentation on React and I'm using JSX syntax for code samples. The Javascript highlighter doesn't do a good job highlighting jsx.
4 votesSelecting the JavaScript language option works for JSX as well.

Button to quick set opacity to 25%, 50% or 75%
The Slides for Opacity is terrible UX. I have slides with lots shaped, which I want to enable and disable often, and it kills me, that I have to hit the 50% exactly every time ..
Alternatively please implement a text-input for this. Sometimes I edit the opacity directly in developer-mode, but it is not really better :/
3 votesThis has been changed. Opacity was the only field that was still using our slider input so made sense to converge on the numeric stepper that we use for everything else.

responsive export presentations
embebed export presentation to be responsive
1 voteThe presentation inside of the embedded iframe is already responsive. However you the embedding site will need to use CSS to resize the iframe element based on viewport size and layout.
In some cases it might be enough to change the “width” attribute in the embed code to 100%.

We’ve added support for image cropping! Select an image and look for the crop symbol in the sidebar to try it out. Here’s a quick screen recording showing it in action: https://static.slid.es/support/crop-image.mp4
We added a couple of new image options at the same time, including the ability to disable the enforced aspect ratio and resize an image freely.
Please let us know if you run into any errors and we’ll make sure to fix them.

The support of gifv, webm or video background
The ability instead of just having images for backgrounds, allowing the user to use various formats for full screen video
13 votesWe’ve added support for video! Videos can be added in the background or as part of the slide content.
You can insert a video either by uploading it to our servers (100 MB max) or specifying an external URL.
More info about how to add a background video can be found here: http://help.slides.com/knowledgebase/articles/405958-slide-backgrounds

easier to put in pictures
I want to be able to just copy and paste pictures in my presentation instead of screen shoting something and then having to download it from my drive.
1 voteHey. It’s already possible to copy and paste images directly from your clipboard. Here’s an example where I right click to copy and press CMD+V to paste in the Slides editor: http://static.slid.es.s3.amazonaws.com/social/slides-copy-paste-image.gif
Note that this only works if you haven’t already copied a block of content inside of the Slides editor. If you’ve already copied a block you can reload the editor. Those two conflict because we have our own copy-paste logic in the editor and can not tap into the operating system’s own logic.

Inline math equations.
You would be able to specify inline math using
$
symbol, (just like in IPython notebook markdown). I'm really tired of putting spaces in my paragraphs to make room for symbols.67 votesWe’ve added support for inline math! It previews right within the editor, as soon as you finish editing the text.

add support for Wistia embedded videos (specifically AutoPlay feature)
You offer AutoPlay for YouTube and Vimeo only, while Wistia, being a well known runner up, doesn't offer one.
Sure, you could use parameter ?autoPlay=true, but Slides.com does not play nicely with that and starts playing all iframes as soon as presentation loads, instead of when entering slide.
That bug is solved by using the provided AutoPlay feature, which is currently not offered for Wistia.

select highlight.js theme for code highlighting
It would be nice to support changing higlight.js theme.
The default (zenburn?) code highlight theme is unreadable when presenting on projector.
At least some black on white would be very useful.27 votesWe’ve added 11 different highlight themes that you can choose from!
This is available through next to where you select language, see: http://static.slid.es.s3.amazonaws.com/social/slides-highlight-theme.gif

Unlimited Speaker Notes
I'd like to have more than 300 characters for speaker notes and allow the speaker notes section to be scrollable within the presenter view.
I usually number my notes so I know when to reference a new fragment in my slide.14 votesWe’ve removed the 300-character limit on speaker notes!
Notes that are 300+ characters long may not be immediately visible but they can be accessed by scrolling.

Group Objects
Grouping multiple objects would make it easier to manage complex slides. Also adding the option of applying settings on multiple objects like font size / color/ class
267 votesWe now support grouping! The quickest way to create a group is to select multiple blocks and press CMD+G/CTRL+G. Alternatively, you can right-click and select “Group” from the context menu. Groups can be nested within one another too.
More info and examples in the announcement deck at https://slides.com/news/groups/

Link to knowledgebase from editor
Add a giant question mark on the editor window that links to the knowledge base: why do I need to go the slides.com for this?
1 voteThanks for the feedback! A link to the knowledge base and help forum has been added to the bottom of the sidebar.
There was already a support link there but it’s only been visible to Pro users up until now. If this ends up increasing our support ticket queue too much we may have to revise. We’re a small team and have to prioritize speedy support for our paying customers.

Allow the user to select multiple items
It would be useful to be able to command-click to select more than one object at a time. I have been trying to make some cool shapes, but sadly I have to remake them every time I create a new slide piece by piece!
