Quickly scale text block while keeping its center static
I love slides and use it a LOT (slides.com/bahmutov), but when I edit text blocks I often find myself spending too much time doing the same several operations to make the text larger
- select text block
- drag the text size slider. The text starts breaking to next line due to left / right boundaries
- I drag the left or right boundary to get the text back into original number of lines
- Then I drag the box so its center is back where it was
I would be perfect if I could hold SHIFT or OPTION while dragging the text slider and that kept the center of the text block static, and also increased its width so the text did not break across the lines.
