Slide analytics
Compete with slideshare.net, get ANALYTICS!!
I'm very torn between you and slideshare.net ! Forget the imported PDFs for the free version, you really should be taking over the ugly and non-dynamic slideshare.net. Unfortunately, right now they're beating you, analytics and tracking trumphs aesthetics when it comes down to it. I've been frustrated because I'd love to just combine all of slid.es with the analytics and tracking metrics of slideshare.net and I'd be in love.
GET ON IT!!

Analytics is the single biggest feature missing from the product from a sales and marketing point of view.
Basic functionality like (who opened, time spend ons slide). That alone was a feature that gave docsend traction. And I'm not confusing Slides with Docsend. Two different products providing same outcome - communication. Wouldn't you want to know how effective that communication is?
Having this would open Slides to a new subscriber base.

What i need is the stat of how many slides has each user gone through - that would demonstrate engagement.
If you cannot do it, how else can i prove engagement? -

Agree. I am torn between features Slides.com has and features slideshare.net has. I want both in the same product.

Analytics is something we've discussed internally and are planning to add. That said, there's a lot of things we want to add so it may take a while to get to this.
