The slide and background transition settings can be used to change how slides move in and out of view when stepping through a slide deck. By default, we use a sliding transition. But you can easily switch to a more distinct transition style or remove the transition animation altogether.

To access the transition settings, click on the "Style" symbol in the left most menu in the editor. Hovering over a transition thumbnail will give you a preview of the animation.

You can override these transition settings for a specific slide using the Slide Settings interface.
