Adding Links

Links can be inserted to open an external web page or another slide in your presentation (see "Internal links" below). Note that links aren't clickable while you're editing but they work when previewing or viewing your presentation outside of the editor.

There are two different places where links can be inserted in the Slides editor:

1. Block links (recommended)

The easiest way to add a link is to make the whole content block clickable. Click on a content block and look for the "Link" option in the left toolbar to get started.

Internal links
By default links will point to an external website or URL, but you can easily change the "Target" if you want to link to an internal slide instead. When linking to internal slides we recommend naming the slides you want to link to. You can name your slides using the Slide Settings interface.

2. Inline text links

If you want to add a link to inline text you can find the option for this inside of the text toolbar. Click on it and you will be prompted to specify a link.

Internal text links
To make inline text links point to an internal slide you can use the following format: #/<slidenumber> or #/<slidename>.

For example, #/3 would take you to the third slide and #/4/2 would take you to the second vertical slide underneath the fourth slide. Note that these numbers are zero-indexed meaning the first slide is numbered 0.
