Having a simple drop down comment box that rests below the slide might be a cool way to allow users to keep notes for each of their slides. Right now I'm writing my script either in a word document or "off screen" outside the visible scroll in the main container.
Speaker notes are now supported. Find out more: http://help.slid.es/knowledgebase/articles/333926
I agree. 200 characters is absurdly small for an image-heavy slide. Please change this limitation!

Thanks for the feature! I wonder what's the point of the 200 characters limitation. I agree there should be an upper limit, but I think 200 is a bit too restrictive, especially if there are a lot of things to mention on a slide.

Yes, it is possible to manually add an aside element using the HTML editor but beware that it can end up being deleted if you use backspace inside of the slide. Even though the aside element isn't visible when you're editing the slide, the element is still technically part of the text flow.
You can actually add presentation notes by editing the html and adding an "aside":
Then when in presentation, you can press "s' to bring up the notes display.
Honestly, you guys are wicked. I submitted a bug report, it was fixed 6 hours later. I submit a suggestion, and it's responded to in less than 2 hours. Thank you for being on top of your stuff. I'm looking forward to the new features in the future.
