Hide content outside of slide
When I put an image or object partially within a slide, I would like the presentation to show only the portion that is actually within the slide. Would it be possible to exclude what's outside the slide from the presentation?

Yes, you can exclude the portion of an image or object that's outside the slide by cropping it. In PowerPoint, right-click the object, select "Format Picture," and use the crop tool to adjust the visible area. In Google Slides, select the image, click the "Crop Image" button in the toolbar, and manually adjust the cropping handles to ensure only the desired portion is visible within the slide. This method effectively hides any content outside the slide's boundaries. http://checklescobill.net

Yes, you can crop the image or object within the slide so only the visible portion is shown. In PowerPoint, for example, you can select the image, click "Crop," and adjust the edges to fit within the slide's boundaries. This will exclude the parts outside the slide from the presentation
