Parallax transition would make the site complete!
6 votesThanks for the idea! Parallax effects are great but not something I think we want to add to Slides.

import from impress.js
import from impress.js
Lot of services use impress.js as export option and it would be great, because the connections between apps.1 voteThanks for the suggestion but I don’t think we’ll be adding impress.js imports. Our formats are a bit too different.

Use icons from thenounproject.com not icomoon
Use free icons from thenounproject.com, rather than from icomoon
0 votesWe’ll be adding more icon options eventually but the source of those icons may be a mix. The Noun Project is a good option that we’ll definitely consider.
There’s already another idea for more icons tracked here: http://help.slides.com/forums/175819-general/suggestions/6570493-add-more-icons-shapes

Leap Motion controller
I suggest that instead enable leap motion controller in reveal.js y not embed it in slides??
4 votesThanks for the feedback. We don’t feel the use case for this plugin is common enough to merit adding to Slides.

Support for latex equations?
One post describes using equations via MathJax by editing the header with javascript. I am not familiar with MathJax, is this essentially the same thing?
1 voteYes, MathJax includes support for LaTeX. Closing this in favor of the existing MathJax idea. http://docs.mathjax.org/en/latest/tex.html

Some feedback for new editor
The new editor looks and works great, more closer to the PowerPoint experience, but it has some drawbacks:
- no way to set a text color for a single word in a phrase, maybe enabling the color toolbar option in CKEditor will help at this
- saving current slide as template is very well hidden, you have to start creating a new slide and if you're smart enough to click on the User's tab to choose a template, you'll find the save option
- vertical centered slides option was removed, users will have to center all the content by hand,…0 votesThis forum is for ideas and suggestions, this post doesn’t quite fall under that category. You’re more than welcome to open new ideas for individual items if you want to.

Clarity on arranging slides to the upward/top direction
When in arrange mode it is possible to have a slide "to the top" by clicking the lower "arrow pipe" button (not the arrow left button). Then in the arrange mode you see the slide in the upward direction. But when I go into play mode and navigate to the point of the upward slide it immediately jumps down to the same row. Appears to be either a bug in play mode or in arrange mode. Could be user misunderstanding.
I made a screen capture here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_6Il4OOw_ruQTdzRW4xT3h2ZEU/edit?usp=sharing
1 voteThis is a misunderstanding. Vertical stacks of slides will always start from the top/first slide, that part is not configurable. There is navigation logic in place that remembers which vertical slide that was visible when navigating away from a stack so that it doesn’t reset to the first slide again when returning to that same stack. This is always happening behind the scenes but is only plainly visible in the arrange mode.
We are however planning to revisit the entire arrange mode in the future and shifting to a drag and drop interface. We’ll keep this in mind then to try and avoid the confusion.

Allowing Links for images
At the moment only text can have links, it would be nice to be able to link images as well
1 voteUpdated response, for the new editor:
To link an image you’ll need to click on it to focus followed by selecting “Link” in the options that appear to the left. I’ve highlighted this in the following screenshot: http://cl.ly/image/1F0812122W21/link-image.png
Previous response, for the old editor:
It’s already possible to link images, try selecting the image just as you would normal text and using the link option in the editor toolbar.

The Ability to Rotate uploaded Images
I've had a few times where I've had to go into photoshop to rotate the Image. Not a HUGE deal, but the ability to grab a corner and rotate a desired number of degrees would be nice.
1 voteWe’re not going to add rotation specifically for images at this point but this is something we’d like to address in the next bigger iteration on the editor. I think we’ll add the ability to rotate any given element in a slide then.

A way to facilitate PDF conversion.
Free PDF conversion of documents, or a way to include the print css file without having to exporting the file (because exporting the HTML file doesn't export the default themes)

Ability to link to whatever slide I want in the deck
Is there a way to create a text link (or an image link) that goes to a specific slide in the deck?
1 voteThere is already a suggestion for this: http://slides.uservoice.com/forums/175819-general/suggestions/3325710-link-to-another-slide
You can find a temporary solution to internal linking in the comments on that thread. We will be exposing a way to do this in the UI at some point as well.
