An error occurred while saving the comment AdminHakim (Co-founder, Slides) commentedThis is a good idea and something we may add as an option to the present view.
In the meantime, you can remap the keys by appending "?navigationMode=linear" to the end of your presentation URL. Here's a working example: https://slides.com/news/make-better-presentations?navigationMode=linear

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminHakim (Co-founder, Slides) commentedInteresting idea—thanks for sharing!
On a related note, we're considering making it possible to pin content blocks so that they are locked in place and remain visible on all Slides. That's not exactly the same as what you asked for but figured I'd share our thinking in a similar space.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminHakim (Co-founder, Slides) commentedThanks for the suggestion! We don't have any plans for enabling non-members to present another users presentation right now. It's a good suggestion and we'll definitely leave it open to see if this is something there's a general interest for.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminHakim (Co-founder, Slides) commented@Brian: We started working on this two years ago but it was put on hold for other projects. It's still something we want to add. I'm gonna move it back up on the todo-list and hopefully we can get to it after wrapping up one or two ongoing projects.

Hey! We automatically redirect all of your presentation URLs when upgrading to a Team with a subdomain.
We don’t provide an option for redirecting from any previous slug to a new one but that’s an interesting idea too.
An error occurred while saving the comment AdminHakim (Co-founder, Slides) commentedWe have a warning for that but turns out it was hidden when changing the slug for a private deck. I think that condition was put in place before we allowed sharing of private presentations. I've updated it now so that the warning text appears as soon as you focus the slug input field, for both private and public presentations.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminHakim (Co-founder, Slides) commentedHey! This isn't something we have on the roadmap right now but we'll consider it for the future. What we'd really like to do is allow custom JavaScript. We have some ideas for how we might be able to do this in a secure way, but need to find the time to try that out :)

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminHakim (Co-founder, Slides) commentedThanks for the feedback! We completely agree that the current way of rearranging slides leaves a lot to be desired. Especially for decks with a lot of slides. We have it on our todo list to switch to a more traditional drag and drop interface which should make this a better experience. Paired with that, we want to change the layout of slides when arranging from the current horizontal strip to a grid of slides that makes better use of the available space.
Presenting all slides in a grid should be a good way to allow quicker navigation outside of the editor too.
We still don't support the Twitter embed code since we disallow all custom script tags.
For the time being my recommended workaround is to use https://twitframe.com/ to create an iframe embed code for your tweet. That embed code can then be inserted into Slides using an iframe content block.
I've got some ideas for how we can enable support for script based embed codes that I'm going to explore as well. Hopefully that will let us support the standard Twitter embed code and those of other whitelisted vendors.
