Dynamic Next slide Links
Create links that advance to the next slide or previous slide.
Would make it easy to create a button which always advances to the next slide, without having to set each slide number.

Allow entire decks to be templates
I have a ton of decks that work off of a few basic patterns. Every time I go to make a new one, it's a pain to find which one I should copy to make my new deck. I would love if I could make a deck and designate it as a "template", the same way there are template slides. That way whenever I go to make a new deck I could just automatically create a copy of the template.

Why does my font change when I add bullets?
In the program you are using, when you “add” bullets, the program changes the style of the entire paragraph to a “bulleted list item” style, which adds the bullets, adjusts the indentation, and the font.

Apply “curly quotes” when typing single or double quotes
It would be great to enter “curly quotes” (smart quotes) when typing ' or " in a text box, for elegant typography:
- Right Single Quotation Mark (U+2019)
- Left Double Quotation Mark (U+201C)
- Right Double Quotation Mark (U+201C)
This could be added as an option for text blocks, perhaps as a checkbox below "letter spacing". I would turn this on by default.

Add categories and strong filter in the search (explore)
When using the search facility (explore), the results are very random. It would be useful to be able to have taxonomies or categories for decks. It would also be useful to be able to search for 'exact strings' e.g. "financial advice".
So for example financial advice returns 1,000's of results, all totally not related.
With so many decks or the potential for publishing decks it seems the only thing letting it down is the ability to filter and categorise.
Been a supporter for many many years and paid. Really trying to justify the expense now in these days of tight…

How can I find an APK file that I installed but can’t see?
Look for a subfolder named “data” or “obb,” where APKs are often stored. Additionally, use the app manager in device settings to list all installed apps and their data. If the app has a dedicated folder, the APK might be there.

Send reminders before annual renewals
Hi, While I have enjoyed sing Slides I am really frustrated that you charge the annual fee without sending me any up-front reminders.
Not being notified before an annual renewal is really not customer friendly...
So I've now decided to leave Slides.
Just wanted to let you know that the customer experience do influence how one perceive a brand.
Kind regards,
Joakim Westin

Better knowledge base for custom css, especially to understand elements hierarchy
I'm working now with custom CSS, but it's hard to understand what is the hierarchical order of elements that will allow me to change slide styles with the less amount of required css classes (or for objects which classes can't be specified, e.g. the pager). A clearer knowledge base would help!

add an option to hide navigation for embedded decks with autoplay
We'd like to display our deck on interior signage so that it automatically advances through slides, but the timer/pause button and navigation arrows obscure the slides' content. It would be awesome if there was an option to hide the navigation arrows and pause button/timer for embedded decks with autoplay enabled. Or an option to make them smaller, depending on the size of the display.
1 voteThis is possible by manually appending query parameters to the embed URL.
https://slides.com/news/autoplay/embed?style=hidden&controls=false&autoSlideStoppable=false
controls=false hides the navigation controls and autoSlideStoppable=false hides the pause button in the bottom left.
We'll consider adding these options to the embed UI too.
