Let entire decks function as templates
Many of my decks stem from just a few core patterns. Every time I need to build a new one, it’s a hassle figuring out which deck to duplicate. It would be great if I could mark certain decks as “templates,” like template slides, so that creating a new deck would automatically start from a copy of that template.

Idea Suggestion: Add “Smart Auto-Backup While Editing
It would be great if Slides.com added a smart auto-backup system that saves edits every few seconds locally in the browser, even if the internet connection drops. When the user reconnects, Slides.com could automatically sync all offline changes back to the cloud. This would prevent data loss during outages and make editing much smoother in low-network environments.

Deck name should be visible in editor
Once a deck is in edit mode, it should be possible to confirm that you have the correct deck based on the deck's name. ATM this is not possible.
The effect of this is that if you have multiple versions of a deck with the same opening slide it is impossible to know if you have actually opened the right one.

Set 16:9 slide aspect ratio as default for new decks
The support for 16:9 requires resetting the templates every new deck. Could this be made a global preference for new decks created from templates?

Tweak annotation pen settings to be suitable for writing.
I use slides.com for lecturing in engineering classes and I often want to add explanations of mathematical content as I am lecturing. Currently the in-presentation annotation settings create thick and simple strokes that are not adequate for capturing written words or math. I think this would work fine if you reduce the thickness of the line, allow more control points (not sure if that is exactly the right word), and/or reduce the automatic simplification of the shape (also not sure if that is exactly the right word).
The default settings of the xournalpp app are excellent for this if you…

Add ability to save annotations added during presentation
I use slides.com for lecturing in engineering classes. I like to use a mix of slides and hand-derivations. I would like to be able to save the annotations added during class so that I can post them later as pdfs.
My current workaround is to download the slides as pdf and then mark them up with xournalpp, but this essentially prevents me from using any fragments to reveal content gradually.

Add custom page numbers
I don't want to only have page numbers be stuck in the bottom right of the deck. I would like to be able to move it around for different decks and visible in the editor.

the ability to zoom-out
I often use transparency layers or gradients - would love the ability in the edit mode to zoom out and see the edges of my artboards.

Offline Editing & Auto-Sync
One of the biggest problems I keep running into is when I lose internet while working on a presentation. Slides basically stops working, and I can’t continue editing until I’m back online. It would help a lot if there was an offline mode where I could keep working, and then everything would sync automatically once I’m connected again. This would make it way easier (and less stressful) to use Slides in places with spotty Wi-Fi or when traveling.

Feature Request – How to Insert Interactive Polls in Slides.com Presentations?
Hello everyone!
I’m using Slides.com for creating interactive presentations and I’m interested in adding live polls during a talk. I can see basic interactive features, but I haven’t found how to embed a real-time poll or audience vote slide. Does Slides.com support a poll embed or integration (e.g. via external polling service)? If yes, how can I set it up so audience responses display directly in the presentation? I'd appreciate any tips or step-by-step guidance from users who have done this. Thanks in advance for your help!Signature

Change the Cover of Projects
It would be beneficial to update the cover of the project preview thumbnails.
Ideally, there should be an option that defaults to the first slide when no selection is made, or allows users to choose one of the slides as the cover (similar to Figma). In this case, a hidden slide could be used as the cover.

Add a slideshow within the presentation
It is great to add a slideshow within the presentation to enhance flexibility, allowing multiple anniversaries to be displayed on a single slide without the need for fragments.

Grid view for arrange, sync editing, and custom font per textbox
Hi! There are 2 things that are currently missing that would be extremely valuable:
Arrange slides should have the option to show all slides in a grid and with pagination. Currently, for large slides (e.g., whole lectures), it is very cumbersome to manage/arrange all slides
When inviting people to edit, all people should be able to edit at the same time, similar to google docs. Having to wait to other people to finish their edits is extremely annoying and unproductive.
If space allows, I would love to have the opportunity to add custom fonts to each text box.
Kind regards,

Share presentation to specific slide
I noticed that slides don’t have a parameter value attached to them, which means that its not When sharring it should be possible to link directly to a specific slide. It would be great for each slide to have a parameter value, ideally this would allow a reference to a slide number or a named slide so that slideckURl?slideName=<SlideName> of slideNum=<slideNum> would link to that slide.
this could be done in the UI for less technical users, and for more technically savy users using parameter values would allow dynamically creating links to specific content.

Add categories and strong filter in the search
When using the search facility (explore), the results are very random. It would be useful to be able to have taxonomies or categories for decks. It would also be useful to be able to search for 'exact strings' e.g. "financial advice".
Therefore, if you search for "financial advice," you will get thousands of results, none of which are relevant.
The capacity to filter and categorize appears to be the sole drawback, given the abundance of decks or the possibility of publishing decks.

Accessibility perspective: enormous promise
I have been using reveal.js for a while now as an e-Accessibility specialist at ETHZ because I believe it has a lot of potential as an accessible presenting tool. This technology could revolutionize the field of education. Compared to HTML and CSS-based methods, PPT and comparable programs are far less appropriate for accessibility.
Nevertheless, the potential is not utilized in any manner by reveal.js. For screen readers to access all of the headings at once, for example, it would require a view option for the slides that shows the HTML text in a linearized fashion. The same as "?print-pdf".In…

Let whole decks serve as templates.
Many of my decks are based on a few fundamental motifs. Finding which one to clone to create my new deck is a pain every time I try to manufacture one. If I could create a deck and label it as a "template," similar to template slides, that would be fantastic. In this manner, a copy of the template would be automatically created each time I went to construct a new deck.

Anyone working with affiliate platforms lately?
I’ve been exploring affiliate options in the iGaming space, but most programs look the same on the surface — flashy promises, unclear terms, and support that barely responds. I’m trying to find something that actually works and has real potential for steady income. Has anyone found a program that’s legit and pays out on time?
