Change transition effect per slide
Add the posibility to define a transition effect for certain slides which overrides the global one.
We’ve made it possible to change the transition effect for specific slides. This and a few other slide-specific options are available in the new “Slide Settings” menu. More info and examples here: https://slides.com/news/slide-settings/

I would also love to have a way to specify a different animation depending on whether I enter or leave a slide. I know that has a lot of possible edge cases and might be complex to implement.
Example: I have three slides. One with a short intro. One with a "before" state (code example) and one with an "after" state. To visualize the difference better, I disabled the animation for slide 2 and 3. So the content of slides 2 and 3 appear immediately and without transition. This results in a very ugly transition when going from slide 1 to slide 2. Content of slide 2 is already shown while the content of slide 1 is still being transitioned away.

There is text transition as well as background transition, in the Style section while editing the slides. (Paintbrush Icon)

I found out how to do this.
Just go to 'Style' by clicking the Paintbrush icon, while editing the slides, then scroll down till you find a section named, 'Transition'. You will find 6 different transitions to choose from.
Hope this helps!
Thanks. -

This would really be nice...especially just when the click would just replace not slide.

Hi
Any news on updates for slide transitions? Fade? Reveal?Cover? Something slightly more eye catching than left -right- left

Adam: This is still something we want to add but it hasn't been high enough of a priority to be implemented yet. Changed the status from "planned" to "backlog" to better reflect this.

Any updates here?
This was marked as "planned" 2.5 years ago.

Is there a manual workaround for this if I'm presenting from within Slides?
Or do I have to download, edit the HTML and add a data-transition="effect"? -

There is some prediction about this functionality?
