Change profile photo without gravatar
A common strategy for signing up for services online is to add an identifier in the email.
e.g: john+Identifier@email.com
For accounts registered in this way gravatar can not find the photo/email. Having a fallback to gravatar in order to upload the photo would be great.

We have added the ability to upload profile pictures.
Gravatar—our previous third party solution for profile pictures—is now only used as a fallback if you haven’t uploaded a picture.

I love Slides, but I have to concur.
Gravatar is an unusual requirement for a user profile; being forced to use it prevents me from uploading an image.

t would be wonderful if we could upload a profile image without connecting it to gravatar. I recognise some people find it convenient, but for myself I'm not keen on having a profile image that follows me around onto other sites the way that gravatar does.!e mois-ci, Marvel a terminé X-Men Grand Design et a annoncé les Fantastic Four Grand Design de Tom Scioli. Mercredi, Busiek et Ross présentent leur épilogue à Marvels et Mark Waid commence l'histoire de l'univers de Marvel (sans parler des prises plus expérimentales comme celle de Cosmic Ghost Rider).
Pour moi, cet engagement à célébrer l'héritage est l'une des plus grandes forces de Marvel par rapport aux autres éditeurs.
Si vous deviez donner un traitement similaire à une autre propriété en dehors de Marvel, que feriez-vous?

De plus, je suis simplement curieux de savoir ce que les gens pensent de ce type de documentaire illustré. Elles sont toujours indispensables pour moi et se présentent comme plus immersives que l’encyclopédie standard.

Gravatar is troublesome. I had a very bad experience (my picture was everywhere without wanting it and it was impossible to remove).
If you want to stick gravatar up our noses, why don't add also the simple fashion of uploading the picture?
