  1. Map key for remote device (for horizontal and vertical navigation)

I love Slides and I love using remote devices like the logitech spotlight (even if slid.es smartphone remote link is handy).
BUT usually remote devices emulate the right keyboard press (and only that).

It'll be really nice to have an option to (temporarily?) remap the right key and N key (next slide) to be able to use remote device with complexe deck (with vertical and horizontal transitions).

I found this Medium post and plugin to do it with reveal.js but it'll be cool to have it directly on slid.es

    Thanks.

  2. Make page styles affect more

Various styles to go with the style picker for heading 1-3

IE copper headers for copper + black theme.

Thanks for the suggestion! Can you provide more detail about what specific styles you want?

Color is picked separately from the text format so I don’t think that’s something we’d want to include in a list next to headings and paragraphs.

  3. Spellcheck

The editor needs spellchecking - that's what I'm hearing

Most editors rely on adding spellcheck="true" attribute to their input or textarea so the browser takes care of it .
However slides.com isn't implemented like that so it could be tricky

  5. Add Presentation Button

Add [Add Dock button] as its not very obvious to go hover on username to show the dropdown menu and add dock. And may be change the name to Add Presentation?

A lot of key functionality is grouped in that dropdown so if users can’t find their way to it that’s a bigger problem. That said, this is the first time we’re hearing about that being hard to find so we won’t be making any change to it just yet. We’ll leave this idea open and see if others come around reporting the same thing and if so revisit it then.

  6. add the option of having a guide presentation sound file

This might be an elaborate feature, but I think it would make the application absolutely killer, and remove the need to make screencasts for everything one ever does.

It would work like this: In addition to creating the slideset, one could upload an MP3 file or similar, which contains whatever voiceover one needs. Different cue-points in the sound file (just time-markers, basically) would map to slides, which the visualization engine will then transition between. In other words, the HTML engine will automatically page as different parts of the audio presentation is reached.

Similarly, manually flipping between slides will automatically make…

    Below are the two problems:
    Problem 1 )
I would like to add the support for mouse scroll to navigate through slides.

    Problem 2 )
Below is the existing layout of slides:
    1 4 5 6 7 8 9
    2 4 5 6 7 8 9
    3 4 5 6 7 8 9
    10 4 5 6 7 8 9
    11 4 5 6 7 8 9

But I want the layout of slides to be like below:

  8. Github integration

It would be great to optionally publish to github and/or keep it in sync.
