Higher quality PDF imports
I tried importing an academic Beamer (LaTeX) presentation and the quality was very low. A lot of the text exhibited aliasing and many of the graphs and their legends were unintelligible.
I tried importing it both as an element and a background image, with no discernible difference.
If you want this feature to be functional, I think you need to implement some kind of way to control the import quality.4 votes -
make table coloring more flexible
right now choosing a color from the context menu applies to all rows, including the table header. The only way to fix this seems to be to modify the HTML directly using the editors.

The ability to un-archive slide decks made by people who have left the company. Perhaps they can specify someone to be the heir apparent to own their works in their absence.

Slide numbers and total number of slides in editor and presenter views
While editing my presentation I don’t know how many slides there are and so I cannot calculate how long my presentation is going to take and where I am in relation to it.
Similarly, the presenter display does not have the current slide and total slide numbers so I cannot see how much more I have left. It is the combination of this information and the countdown timer that let’s me orient my timing when presenting in Keynote.

List Items Vertically Spaced Evenly Within a Flexbox Container
Alright guys, I'm learning CSS right now, and I'm kind of stumped as to why I can't get it to do what I want it to do. It's probably something extremely simple that I'm overlooking.
I'm wanting to have an unordered list containing sub-lists vertically spaced evenly within a flexbox sidebar container and the sub-list items doing the same between each list item. Everything I've tried so far hasn't had any effect on how the list items are displayed.
Any help is appreciated.

Adding side slides at the middle of top-down slides.
Would be nice to add a right-side slide to any top-down slides. When trying to do that now, the right-side slide is always created on the first top-down slide. But I need it just for couple of slides in the middle.
Let's say I have top-down slides with texts and just for some of those I need to have right-side slide with screenshots. That's the intension.

Slide Elements as Background Elements
So essentially my idea here is for you to be able to lock certain elements and have them count as the background.
Let's say I have a line running through all of my slides, as a design element, and I want it to seem seamless. I'd use slide transitions-- no issue, change them both. But if I want to use a different transition for the stuff ON my slide, the line will move as well, the effect broken.
So, if I could say "this line is part of the 'background,' treat it as such" I could then make full use…

Creating Folders
Hey,
It would be nice if there was an option to create a folder on our profile page when viewing all of the slides we've created so that we could better organize and categorize our slides by topic. For those of us planning on creating hundreds of slide presentations, it becomes difficult after a while to navigate without some kind of folder structure. Doesn't seem like it'd be that hard to implement. Otherwise, I absolutely love Slides!

Count words in slides and notes pages
To https://wordcounter.tools in both your PowerPoint presentation's slides and your notes page, do the following:
On the File tab, click Info.
At the bottom of the rightmost pane, click Show All Properties. The word property counts all text on slides and notes pages.
Count indicates the words in the notes page
You can also count words in a PowerPoint presentation's notes page, but it's best to do so in Word.
On the File tab, click Export > Create Handout.

Allow to define KaTeX macros
It would be great if users could create custom macros (https://katex.org/docs/options.html) for commonly-used mathematical notations.
For example, if you make a presentation that uses all over the place $\mathbb{R}$ (the ensemble of real numbers), it'd be great to be able to define it as a macro, e.g. \RR, as a short-hand notation.
