A way to have the Arrange Slides bar open at all times
A setting to have the arrange slides bar open at all times. Google Slides and PPT already do this and it's super convenient.

Let whole decks serve as templates.
Many of my decks are based on a few fundamental motifs. Finding which one to clone to create my new deck is a pain every time I try to manufacture one. If I could create a deck and label it as a "template," similar to template slides, that would be fantastic. In this manner, a copy of the template would be automatically created each time I went to construct a new deck.

objects insensitive to editor
A .insensitive or similar class that locks an object from being editable using the WYSIWYG editor.
Essential for sharing and cloning presentations to those who shouldn't be able to accidentally edit custom crafted parts of layouts.
I tried using CSS user-select and webkit touch rules but the editor seems to still allow it.

Allow developers to add custom blocks for teams
We are currently trying to find an application that would allow us to easily create content to be used for interactive e-learning.
Slides does already provide some great functionality to create slide-shows. However, a few elements are missing for our use case - i.e. questions that users have to answer.
It would be absolutely amazing, if it was possible to create some custom building-blocks and add them to the editor for the whole team.
This would also allow 3rd-party developers to extend your system with custom symbols, animations and such.

RTL mode only affects slides, and not speaker notes.

Better Navigation
I want to be able to navigate to the top of a stack next or previous. There are two things that stop this right now.
The first is that if I go back I first have to hide fragments that have been displayed on the current slide.
The second is that when I get to the previous stack (or the next stack if it's been visisted) I don't get the top slide.I'm just thinking of an extra two shortcuts.

Add "Font-Border" in the "Text" Editor
Text fields should allow a text border that is like a shadow to the text.
A nifty CSS attribute would betext-shadow.3 votes -
Fix the code display
It highlights keywords (for, while, etc.) even when they are enclosed in a string literal. Also, highlighting escape sequences (ex. \r, \n, \") would be nice.

Allow users to use their own S3
- Shrink free tier (saves you money) to 50MB
- Allow users to add their own S3 for media uploads (especially for free accounts)
- Limit the amount of uploads (after all it's still your app and processor / RAM)

Notify user when private deck is viewed
It would be great if we could get an email notification when a private deck link is opened and viewed. I share a lot of presentation links and would like to know if the people I sent it to did open and view the presentation.

allow text indentation.
It would be helpful to be able to indent certain paragraphs within a block of text instead of having to manually insert spaces, or insert an entirely new text box and manually move it.

Standalone presentations
Slides are a great tool to help illustrate what the speaker is talking about.
When you share slides, they are likely to become near useless, as you cannot provide what you said while showing them. Or the order in which you explained them. What could be great is to be able to attach a talk, splitted in paragraphs, and going from a paragraph to another would trigger an action in this fashion : jumpToFragment(X).OnPage(Y).
This way, anyone would be able to read a standalone comprehensive presentation, and not just slides anymore.
This is the closest thing I could find but…

Ability to add scribble or freeform strokes
In addition to predefined shapes or images, I would like to be able to add freeform strokes or ink elements in the presentation.

Loop back-and-forth option for videos
The loop option is good, but in presentations it is often useful with palindrome looping (back and forth).

Add Python syntax highlighting for exceptions
Code snippets that come from a Python shell might show exception tracebacks. On the Python documentation, the tracebacks are code highlighted. In slides.com, they are not. Could you add that?

Bug: Paste moves other items around (without logic)
A paste operation, as well as adding a new text field, moves other text blocks. This simply doesn't make sense. If it's a feature, it should be switched off, because it messes up way more than it could possibly help (haven't had a single situation in which it was useful).

Syntax highlighting for command line
I have command line examples in my presentations. It would be cool if they could be styled accordingly.
