Offline Editing Support
Service should still work if I lost connection. Would also be great to have it as a Chrome App so I can start new presentations even while offline, like on a plane.

Still waiting for that feature, this is a huge limitation (plane, bad internet connections...).
The Dropbox backup is great, but not an alternative to offline editing.
The feature suggestion was created and marked as "Planned" 6 years ago.
Someone from the team could comment here on the ETA?

drag+drop the file cheater69.json into the characters folder. Start the game, hit 'play' as cheater69 to unlock Champion of Stormfall, go back to character selection, switch the game mode to Champion of Stormfall, and hit play again.Nothing special about this character, its level 50 with (I think) all level 50 abilities, some gold, purple juice, and shit gear. You can edit these values yourself quite easily within the cheater69.json file. I've seen other saves posted but they all require extra editing of other files. https://vidmateapp.win https://shareitapp.me https://teatvapk.win

Appreciation for really being thoughtful and also for deciding on certain marvelous guides most people really want to be aware of. https://www.epsonsupports247.com/simple-steps-to-fix-epson-printer-error-code-0x9a/

I'm struggling finding a PowerPoint alternative, and RevealJS is the best choice so far. But as I don't have any HTML knowledge and don't really have the time to learn it, I really need the Slides online editor. But this means if I'm offline (travel, conference...), I can't edit my slides and that's really too bad. An offline app would be so awesome! But please make it available on Linux.

The purpose of this Description field will be for the creator to share some thoughts on what is the purpose, who is the owner and the intended life span of the Service Instance that is being created.

Being able to create/edit decks on the plane would be so awesome!

Definitely need this. I just updated a nice pitch deck and now slides.com is down. I will end up moving my exported copy to reveal.js on my own server if this isn't resolved quickly.

I am often in need of giving presentations that link to offline video's and movies. Being able to easily link to offline files and save directory structure with all files in a folder/subfolders would be great. Then I could do away with LibreOffice.
Just want it.

Also,
If you don't use any custom resources like images (ie your presentation is text-only)An easy alternative to what I posted which is based on also involving Github should be to simply start with a local instance of reveal.js, then import that into slid.es.
Just don't start with slid.es.
You can then export to your local reveal.js instance and run with no webserver needed. But, if you embed anything besides simple text, my guess is that you'll have to do what I describe in my previous post on Github integration.

Re: Neuroscientific's request...
I think this can be done already by doing the following...
Follow the steps I outlined for "Github Integration" at
http://help.slides.com/forums/175819-general/suggestions/3173469-github-integrationThat results in a copy of your presentation in 3 places... slid.es, github and your local machine.
Your presetntation should then work at both slid.es and github without further modification.
If you don't have a network connection, running the presentation locally would have 2 requirements
- Deploy your presentation in a local webserver. Every OS has one at no additional cost, eg Windows has IIS. Or, if you're a bit technical, you can deploy a node.js web server which is fast, lightweight and consumes almost no resources.
- Modify your Hosts file to point the Domain normally found on the Internet to localhost. So, by default it's a bit technical for someone non-technical, but it can be done with few requirements.

Johannes:
There's a Dropbox sync feature (Pro-only) that does just that. Automatically syncs all HTML/JS/CSS files as well as images down to your local filesystem. http://slides.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/229620-dropbox-pro-

I don't mind if the service works offline (like editing slides) but I would really appreciate a function like "export as zip" including all the fonts, css, images and so on.
I wrote a small nodejs script which partially does that for me but I'd like it to be supported in the export menu :). Also my script isn't yet that bulletproof and some manual corrections are needed. If there is any interest on this I could try to improve my script and share it online.

If this had corporate funding, I would agree with you. However, I think downloading the source is good enough for now...
