  1. curly brace / bracket

    A very useful editing tool when including a summary in a presentation is indeed to have the possibility to include curly braces / brackets.

    Would it be possible to implement this ? i.e. in the line menu ?

  2. Add a color picker (eye dropper tool) in color selection pane

    This is very useful when composing a slide and wanting to match a color from an imported image, for example.

  3. Make buttons that let user jump to specified slides (e.g. to choose your way through an algorithm)

    Sometimes you want to show different pathways through an algorithm, then it would be helpful if presenter and/or user could click on a "button", that triggers the next slide depending on the choice:
    e.g. Slide 1 with Option A, B and C, sends you to Slide 2,3 or 3.

  5. Support for portrait orientation in speaker view

    Absolutely great to see the full-screen speaker mode implemented for iPad. It would be even better if the portrait-orientation layout could be reorganized more efficiently. Right now, quite a bit of unnecessary space for current and next slides.

    In the portrait-orientation layout for speaker mode in iPad, would it be possible to reserve for the speaker notes the bottom one-third (to even a half of the) space?

    This would makes the font of the speaker notes much more visible, with virtually no impact on the two slides displayed.

  7. Better Analytics

    Improve Analytics

    It would be great to have a dashboard like Wistia.
    - per deck
    - stats per slide (time on slide)
    - heat map on clicks
    - % of deck completed

    For now, can you guys put together a video on integrating Google Analytics? The current help page is quite vague.

  8. Change code highlight theme globally

    It would be nice to change code themes globally throughout a presentation rather than having to set the theme on each individual code snippet.

  10. Duplicate objects by Alt+Dragging them

    As someone who is used to Adobe's applications, Sketch, and other graphical editors, the ability to duplicate objects by holding Option (Alt) and dragging it has become a staple that makes editors lacking this functionality a pain to use.

    Adding this would speed up the editing workflow greatly and make duplicating objects feel less manual.

  11. Slide navigation

    Ability to more easily move around and navigate slides. Right now, if you want to move one slide all the way to the end, it takes a long time to slowly move it slide by slide over to the right or left.

    Similarly, ability to quickly navigate through the deck more quickly. Having to flip page by page to get to my last slide where i decided I want to make edits, and then going back to where I was another 20 slides back one by one, becomes cumbersome.

  12. Let VIEWERS export decks to .pdf, .zip, etc.

    Share your deck with someone and let THEM download it as .pdf, .zip, etc. Right now, the only way to do it is YOURSELF while editing the deck.

  13. Get the current slide id and the list of available slide ids from the embed API

    We would like to be able to retrieve a unique id for each slide (not just index) so we can link to a certain slide even if the slides have been rearranged or inserted. We need it from the embedded api so we can sync user notes etc to a specific slide.

  14. Allow navigating through slides with up and down arrow keys in presentation mode

    Because many slide navigation devices come mapped to the up and down arrows instead of the page up and page down keys, users who don't want to use the app to control slides often end up needing to research a lot in order to find a remote that will work for them.

    I'm one of those people, only problem is when I got my remote it turns out that it isn't actually mapped to page up and page down. If there were a simple configuration for "Advance slide key" and "Previous slide key" that maybe offered a limited set of…

  16. Playing videos should pause auto-slide

    I use decks with auto-slide and shuffling for photo slideshow purposes. However, I sometimes want to include videos in those decks, but that turns out to be rather useless, since auto-slide keeps going if the video is played.

    Playing an embedded video should pause auto-slide.

    When the video ends, or is paused, perhaps auto-slide could turn back on. Maybe it would be better to just let the user turn it back on automatically, though.

  17. add "Find and Replace" capability throughout presentation

    The online editor would be much more powerful if I could find and replace throughout the whole presentation. Of course regular expressions would also be nice but that is not even necessary.

    The effort to export to html and do it there and re-import is quite tedious.

    Right now I'd pay for this feature.

  18. Add API for export to zip/reveal

    It would be awesome to be able to download exports (zip or reveal.js) via an API call. The use case is to automate post processing of slides exports for adding more complex functionality.

    Sync to dropbox has too much latency and uncertainty.

  19. Animate all properties like blur, image crop, etc.

    Hello all,
    use case example: Use a map at the beginning of the presentation. Create an auto-animation, that should zoom in a part of the map.

    Or another case: Blur an image that is not important anymore in a nice way. It should start with the clean image and then slowly get blurrier until it reaches the final bluryness.

  20. Keyboard shortcuts for changing slides while an element is selected

    Currently, the keyboard shortcuts for next/prev slide do not work when you have an image/text block selected.

    This is fine if you're editting the text (hitting escape will cancel that) but you have to click outside something to change slide which is a bit of a pain

    Having a next/prev slide key which works without this would be nice
