Easy licensing
Add a license to a presentation. Picking in a list (Creative Commons, MIT, Mozilla, etc.) or adding its proper licensing text. It's a good practice ensuring a good sharing spirit.

Provide ability only show private slides for a specific domain
Vimeo has a interesting and practical feature that allow the subscriber present the video only where he wants.
This is great to membership sites!

Allow to manage the way we navigate between columns of slides.
For example, allow to go from slide #3/first column, to slide #3/seconde column directly.
Very usefull to make comparaison between two situations (1 per column) and to face elements to each other.

More options for navigation bar design
More options for navigation bar design
Providing more options for navigation bar design would be great.
There seems to be no options other than using default triangular blue button.
I think transparent color and more design option for button and would be better fit to slide design.6 votes -
Integrate with third-party apps
So terribly lazy (I know), but I'm unlikely to use this amazing tool, unless I can embed in my app. Here me out, I don't think you need to provide any source code access, just a minified service (like google maps etc).
By allowing apps to embed your editor, IMHO would be a huge step-up and competitive advantage in terms of allowing people to proliferate your success and establish a market position.
By all means force them to be pro users, and provide ways for them to get their data out using your tool to say have a postback link…

Parameterize
It would be EXTREMELY powerful if we could link to a deck with a set of query parameters that could in turn be injected into the deck.
One example would be providing step-by-step instructions for a class where in the class number, password and URL are unique to each class.

Allow using a slide as a background
I want to put my name and a URL at the bottom of all my slides, but I would have to create a giant image of it. Instead I want to make a slide with the regular editor that would appear as a background to all my slides.

scrolling so that we can create higher resolution presentations
We need to make 4k presentations and we do not want to upscale. Currently you are locked into a limited space with slides. We need the ability to scroll in a presentation or else to zoom out to see all of what's being displayed at one time.

Allow remote viewers to view previous slides
More control over which slides remote viewers can see.
Specifically it would be great if my audience could view previous slides to the one I'm currently presenting on.
One of the biggest presentation pet peeves is when a presenter goes to the next slide before you had the chance to fully inspect a charge, data, etc.
This feature would completely eliminate this because the viewer could freely view any old slide at their whim.6 votes -
Add Modelica syntax highlighting
The Modelica modeling language is widely used in engineering. But I don't see it as an option here. I've worked with a couple of different systems that provide Modelica syntax highlighting. If I knew what was required, I could help you with pulling together what was needed.
Thanks.

Change speed of fragments transition
The default reveal.js transition speed for fragments is a little too fast in my opinion. It would be interesting the possibility to customize the transition duration within the fragments interface.
For now, pro users can change the speed by adding this to the beginning of your CSS:
.slides section .fragment {
opacity: 0;
visibility: hidden;
transition: all .6s ease; }.slides section .fragment.visible {
opacity: 1;
visibility: inherit; }6 votes -
Allow to choose border style for shapes
Shape border can be only solid, but lines on the contrary can have dotted or dashed style. Now I am forced to "build" dotted or dashed figures from several lines. Please, allow to choose different border styles.

Download images from media library
It would be nice to be able to download from the media library. Sometimes, it is convenient to be able to modify an old image before putting it into a new presentation.

Add countdown timer in presenter view
If I am giving, for example, a 30 minute presentation, a count-down timer tells me how much more time I have left (e.g., 5 minutes). If I also know that I have 10 slides left, I know that I have 2 minutes per slide.
The presentation view currently only has a count-up timer. A countdown timer that keeps counting (e.g., in red) after it gets to zero (so you also know how long you are currently going over if you do go over) would be a lifesaver.
