Add API for export to zip/reveal
It would be awesome to be able to download exports (zip or reveal.js) via an API call. The use case is to automate post processing of slides exports for adding more complex functionality.
Sync to dropbox has too much latency and uncertainty.

Animate all properties like blur, image crop, etc.
Hello all,
use case example: Use a map at the beginning of the presentation. Create an auto-animation, that should zoom in a part of the map.Or another case: Blur an image that is not important anymore in a nice way. It should start with the clean image and then slowly get blurrier until it reaches the final bluryness.

The app is changing the background color of my slides
When I try to download as pdf some slides that have black background, it give me the slides in white background. Why is this happening? It only happens with some slides, not all of them.

Keyboard shortcuts for changing slides while an element is selected
Currently, the keyboard shortcuts for next/prev slide do not work when you have an image/text block selected.
This is fine if you're editting the text (hitting escape will cancel that) but you have to click outside something to change slide which is a bit of a pain
Having a next/prev slide key which works without this would be nice

Add variables for creation date and presentation title in HTML
Add the ability for putting the {{creation.date}} and {{presentation.title}} into custom themes
Very useful for header and footers in presentations that need to be exported.

Allow users to choose the slide that appears for a deck in the profile page instead of using the first one.
When duplicating a deck the "icon" of the deck that appears in the profile page appears to be the icon of the duplicated deck and this never changes. A duplicated deck should either inherit the first slide as it's icon after it's been edited. Or it should allow me to choose which slide appears as the icon in the profile page.

Add JSX support
Javascript syntax highlighting doesn't work with JSX at all - className gets all-lowercased, for example, which is very confusing because it's case sensitive.

Oembed Link With Total Slides & postMessage With Current Slide Number In Event
I am in the process of building an LMS that is capable of tracking progress for a variety of media types. I have found that many of the embedded iframes provided by companies that share media do not provide a simple solution for a developer to easily track progress of a client through the embedded content. Props to your team for using postMessage.
First off, it would be incredible if slides.com could provide an oembed route (https://oembed.com/) so developers could easily lookup and embed public presentations from just a link to the presentation (aka https://slides.com/oembed?format=[json/jsonp/etc]&url=http://slides.com/news/make-better-presentations#/).

Fixed blocks that persist across multiple pages
Ability to create fixed content blocks that can persist across multiple pages and aren't effected by transitions.
This would allow the users to create a custom navigation layer on top of the presentation.

Recognising and integrating links automatically when importing an PDF into slides
Current Status (correct me if I'm wrong): If you're importing a PDF it will be placed as an background image, which is pretty cool, since you can add more content if you want ... but all placed links won't be linked anymore. To fix this it's possible to put transparent boxes on top and add the link. But if I have to reimport the PDF because of some changes I have to do all of this again.
Feature: It would be so cool to automatically add the links when importing.

Allow specifying exact image scaling factors
When displaying multiple images on a single slide, sometimes it is important to show them at the same, but enlarged (or reduced) scale. If the images have different width/height originally, then it is difficult to resize them manually and keep the same resolution.
E.g. I have multiple snippets of terminal window screenshots I want to place on the same slide, and all of them have different width/height, but if I scale them to different amounts, that will result in different text sizes and will look messy. Doing that by hand is difficult and tiresome.

Edit snippets *after* adding to slide.
After a snippet is added to the slide, allow us to edit the snippet options in the sidebar when snippet is selected.
This would allow us to position snippets where we'd like them within templates for users to edit info later.

Lock element's position but remain editable
Please allow a second option to only lock position but not content. This would help us lock positions in templates but still let our users edit photos and text.

Additional SVG and CSS inline style support and properties pannel
It would be great if there were better SVG and CSS styling support. It'd be nice to have a properties panel for the object to set position, size, title, etc. It's weird that when uploading an SVG to the media library then inserting it to the slide with inline styles checked that it adds an image which sources the SVG that was uploaded to an S3 bucket in addition to the inline SVG itself. However, if you delete the IMG tag it doesn't show up in the editor even though the SVG is in the HTML. It seems to work…

Master slide that updates automatically in all presentations that use it
Mark a slide in one presentation as a master. When someone from my team copies the slide to one of their presentations, or when someone forks my presentation, and I later update the master slide, the slide gets automatically updated in any forked/copied duplicates.
