  1. Fix the background color bug

    Hello,

    First, thanks for your tool : it's elegant, easy to use and clear...
    But I have a problem with "slide".

    Basically, when I'm trying to change her color, it doesn't work. But, if I try to change the background-color to the SAME background-color, then i make a choice, the colors change. The true problem is the color changed only for a moment ; if i'm going on another slide then i come back on the first, the backgrund-color comes back to his first state.

    Hard for me ; the next time i'll see the feedbacker of a software. If…

  2. Math Equations

    It took about ten minutes to fork reveal.js to add equation support via MathJax ( http://mathjax.org ). You only drop the MathJax javascript into the header and it automatically renders anything like $y=x^2$ as an equation in any number of different formats. No live demo, but see: https://github.com/rreusser/reveal.js

    Makes a lot of sense to me particularly since it's so simple, but there are a number of choices that would need to be smoothed out like which equation syntax to use, which display format to use, and how an editor like rvl.io would balance WYSIWYG with equations that need rendering.

  3. Allow multiuser collaboration

    Many times a presentation is a work of more than one person. Would be great to allow all of them to contribute to its edition.

  5. Link to another slide

    Provide ability to link to another slide instead of just a website. I'd love to use this format for a portfolio but don't want to make others have to scroll through to find what they want.

  6. Import slides

    Just like we can "download" the content of a slide, it would be nice to be able to "upload" the content of a slide.

  7. Custom HTML and custom Fonts

    I'd love the ability to add custom code, like for embedding an iFrame.
    Also, be able to use custom fonts, usually via services like Typekit, Google Fonts etc.

  8. Support right to left languages

    I suggest support right to left languages: supporting bullets on the right, combining english and non english writing from the right, transitioning the slides to the left instead of right, etc.

  9. Autosave.

    Its been a couple of times I sleep my computer and when I'm back I get a saving error.

    Also, as a docs and iWork user I must admit I'm getting kind of used to autosave. I think it'd be a good (and huge, I bet, in terms of programming, storage, etc) addition. The "complementary" tools that usually come with autosave would be pretty good too (version control being the biggest).

    I think it's a great goal though to strive to later in the future.

  11. Create an Embeddable version

    Something like JS Fiddle has, so I can embed inside of a blog post or on my website somewhere.

  12. Don't darken background when the 'Slide background' menu is opened.

    When I try to change the background colour I can't accurately see it until I close the menu. It darkens the slide and doesn't provide show the accurate colour.

    Thanks for the feedback. We’ve changed how this works so that only part of the screen is darkened while applying a slide background. Hope that helps!

  14. Position the grid in front of the slide

    In the editor settings one you can check the "Grid" option which "displays a grid behind the slide to help aligning". It would be nice to have an option for positioning the grid in front of the slide because when I want to overlap several larger elements then the first one already covers the grid and since that part of the grid is not visible anymore it consequentially doesn't help aligning anymore (apart from snapping).

  15. Fragment on outlines (nested lists)

    Add the possibility to add fragments to the lines of an outline, ie a nested ordered or un ordered list. This already work at the first level of a list but doesn't work if you have a lists inside a lists inside a list...

    We just released a major redesign of the fragment mode to address a few different issues:

    1. There’s a new sidebar where you can see all elements on the slide listed out. This lets you reach overlapping elements and enables you to create nested fragments (useful for nested bullet lists).

    2. As soon as there are two or more fragments, a new interface will appear that allows you to preview fragments without leaving the current view.

    3. There’s a new button for resetting all fragments.

  16. Speaker notes react to user agent

    Tried using the speaker notes in VR (High Fidelity), but a problem is that Slides.com seem to react to the user agent of the browser in a way that makes it difficult to use the speakernotes. If the user agent contains "mobile" it seems to default to the mobile, touch screen, setting even if the screen is large.

    If there was a way to override the mobile version by using some kind of string in the url (like "?not-mobile") it would be possible to use the notes even on devices that happens to for some reason send the mobile user…

  17. New drag and drop slide arrangement broke my edit workflow

    The new drag and drop feature for the slide arrangement is awesome, but it broke my editing workflow.

    I move between slides a lot during editing, so I used to press "esc" -> "arrow keys" -> "enter" to move from one slide to another. With the current version (Feb 2018) "enter" is not recognized anymore when opening the "slides overview" in edit mode.

    Works perfectly in presentation mode, btw.

    Thanks for the feedback! We’ve revised the keyboard navigation so you should be able to use the arrow keys followed by Enter to jump between slides again.

  18. Add Twig to the list of languages for syntax highlighting

    Twig is a pretty popular template engine for PHP and it misses in the list of selectable languages in the code editor although highlight.js supports it: https://github.com/isagalaev/highlight.js/blob/master/src/languages/twig.js

    Would be great, having it on the list.

  19. BUG: Objects move when entering text box

    Suppose there's an object (e.g., arrow) directly below a text box containing LaTeX math stuff, in such a way that:
    when entering the text box to edit the text, the formula expands to the original LaTeX source, taking up more text lines than the formula itself.

    The textbox is made larger (expanded downwards), and the object directly below it is pushed down. When leaving the text box, the LaTeX source is replaced by the much shorter formula, the textbox shrinks, but the object below it doesn't return to the original position.
